Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prevent accidents, injuries and claims by conducting daily new hire orientations.
• Develop and deliver Safety Training and New Hire Orientations per federal, state, local, and client programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, programs, and policies.
• On-site safety audits as required by project demands.
• Inspire and coach employees to meet safety goals.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding injuries and claims.
• Take a proactive approach to claims and injury reduction.
• Act as liaison for project drug and alcohol testing.
• Perform additional duties as client needs dictate and skill level grows.

Job description

Entry Level Contract Safety Professional (3 years or less) – New Florence, MO

The individual in this position is responsible for supporting the orientation coordination and training and will spend 90% of their time likely in the field. The safety professional will work directly for the client contractor and report to a safety leads on-site.

Job Qualifications

Typical Job Responsibilities

• Prevent accidents, injuries and claims by fully executing daily new hire orientations.
• Develop and deliver Safety Training and New Hire Orientations as mandated by Federal, State, Local and Client Programs.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Client or Project safety regulations, programs, and policies.
• On occasion, perform job site safety audits on a daily or weekly basis per project demands.
• Inspire and coach employees to accomplish safety goals.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding injuries and claims.
• Take a proactive, rather than reactive, approach in claims and injury reduction.
• Act as the liaison for project drug and alcohol testing.
• Other duties may be assigned as Client needs dictate and increasing skill level is demonstrated.
