Job summary

Teichert, Inc. is seeking an entry-level QA technician to perform routine quality control testing on ReadyMix concrete and aggregate products.

The role includes field tests, lab work, and weekly reporting, with opportunities to learn mix design under supervision. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and a willingness to obtain ACI Field and Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1 within six months, while possessing basic computer skills and a valid California driver license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of work experience (any field).
• Willing to work varied day/evening/overnight shifts.
• Valid California Driver License required.
• Plan to obtain ACI Field Testing Technician Level 1 within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA tests on concrete products, including field testing (ACI Field Level 1) and plant aggregates.
• Transport cylinders to the lab, log, strip, and store cylinders.
• Maintain field reports and weekly site visit logs; report results to stakeholders.
• Calibrate field-testing equipment at scheduled intervals.
• Assist Lab Supervisor with mix design research and development.
• Organize and maintain the QA lab; supervise summer interns.
• Promote a Zero Injury safety culture through adherence to safety policies.
