Job summary

Titan America in Northern Virginia seeks a Concrete Quality Control Technician to ensure high quality ready-mix concrete and provide technical assessments. The role reports to the Quality Manager and involves testing, site coordination, and QA support.

Qualified candidates will have a HS diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred) and at least one year in ready mix QC or related field, with strong communication and computer skills. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in Ready Mix Concrete, quality control, or related industry.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task under pressure and work with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample testing and monitoring of concrete production for the region.
• Observe job site testing and perform comparative testing with independent agencies.
• Communicate with customers, testing labs, and dispatch and plant supervisors on mix and dosage.
• Inspect plants and recommend corrective action to meet specs and QA guidelines.
• Support sales and production in resolving quality-based customer queries.
• Back up plant operator duties as needed and ensure safe, efficient production.
