Job summary

Tex Mixconcrete is seeking a QC Field Technician in our Austin Division to manage product quality and share concrete knowledge with employees and customers. You will perform field testing and data entry, supporting plant personnel and customers to ensure consistency and excellence.

This role requires ACI Field Grade 1 certification (or ability to pass within 6 months), a valid driver license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from college, university or technical school and 1–2 years related experience or equivalent training.
• ACI Field Grade 1 Certification required or ability to pass within 6 months.
• Strong communication and math skills; able to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing ACI & AST M concrete and raw materials testing and enters data.
• Evaluates quality standards and recommends improvements to management.
• Educates plant personnel and drivers on product quality and Verifi utilization.
• Visits job sites, attends pre-pour meetings, and reviews Verifi data for consistency.
• Completes required paperwork and supports laboratory testing as needed.
