Job summary

Tex Mixconcrete is seeking a QC Field Technician to join our Austin Division. The role focuses on performing concrete and raw materials testing, reviewing data, and supporting plant personnel with quality improvements.

You will interact with drivers, customers, and management to ensure consistency. Ideal candidates have a degree or technical training with 1–2 years of related experience, the ACI Field Grade 1 certification or plan to pass within 6 months, and strong math plus proficiency in

Qualifications

• Degree from college, university or technical school with 1–2 years related experience.
• ACI Field Grade 1 Certification required, or ability to pass test within 6 months.
• Strong math skills and ability to perform measurements and percentages accurately.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel for reporting and data entry.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing concrete and raw materials testing per ACI/ASTM standards.
• Evaluates quality standards and recommends process improvements.
• Educates plant personnel on product quality and Verifi usage.
• Visits job sites, reviews Verifi data, and supports customers.
• Completes all required paperwork and maintains documentation.
