UF Information Technology (UFIT) is seeking an entry-level Computer Operator I to join ICT Single Operations Center in Gainesville. The position provides 24/7 coverage across shifts and supports basic data center operations, monitoring systems and responding to abnormal conditions.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree or a high school diploma with two years of relevant experience; college coursework may substitute.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor UFIT networking and systems using provided tools.
• Respond to abnormal conditions and notify on-call support.
• Provide after-hours Help Desk support and handle customer calls.
