Renasant Bank's SBLU Credit Underwriter I is a entry-level role providing essential commercial credit analysis in Nashville, TN. You will review business and personal financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports to determine borrower and guarantor creditworthiness and prepare financial models.

You will support loan decisions on new and renewal credits, develop summaries, monitor pipeline, and assist with nCino data entry and debt-service calculations.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's in finance-related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of job-related experience in credit underwriting or lending.
• Strong analytical, verbal and written communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Analyze noncomplex SBLU credits with loan amounts typically under $100M.
• Prepare financial spreads and models for credit decisions.
• Summarize findings and present to the SBLU; maintain pipeline and ensure timely turnaround.
• Assist with nCino data entry and monitor total exposure in credit systems.
• Compute debt service ratios and assist loan officers in qualifying loans.
• Adhere to Loan Policies and Department Procedures; handle ad-hoc duties.
