Job summary

The CLU Senior Credit Underwriting Manager at Renasant Bank will direct and mentor a team of commercial loan underwriters responsible for underwriting and reviewing large unsecured and secured loans across multiple states, including Nashville. You will produce comprehensive credit memorandums to support lending decisions and manage workflow and staffing to meet quality and timing standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma; a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics preferred.
• Extensive underwriting experience: 5+ years Commercial Loan Underwriting or 10+ years Commercial Lending.
• Experience underwriting commercial construction, C&I, and CRE loans.
• Ability to analyze tax returns and financial statements; strong written/verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to use financial calculators for loan modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor underwriters in completing large/unsecured and secured loans.
• Oversee workflow and timely completion of credit requests and annual reviews.
• Train staff on bank loan policies and department procedures; provide guidance as needed.
• Develop and present Credit Memorandums for lending decisions to management.
• Own NCino responsibilities and ensure high-quality production and turnaround standards.
