Job summary

Westlake Financial is seeking an Entry-Level Collections Agent in Las Vegas, NV. In this in-office role, you will handle outbound calls to set up payment plans, respond to inbound inquiries, and guide customers toward resolving past-due balances.

The position offers full-time and part-time options with training and promotion potential within a growing automotive finance leader. Candidates should have strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, and be prepared for a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Good communication, listening, and problem-solving skills
• Basic to intermediate computer knowledge
• Proper grammar and email etiquette
• Type a minimum of 35 WPM
• Ability to work under time constraints and daily deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills and teamwork awareness
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule, including evening shifts, overtime and weekends
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is welcomed but not required
• Auto Collections experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers through outbound calls using our auto-dial system
• Talk with customers to set up payment plans on early delinquent accounts
• Answer inbound calls and provide friendly, professional support
• Use communication skills and empathy to find fair, personalized solutions
• Follow company guidelines to ensure interactions are handled correctly
• Meet and exceed daily and monthly performance goals
• Make outbound calls to arrange payments or set up plans to resolve past-due accounts
• Handle inbound calls providing professional assistance while addressing service and collection needs
• Work with customers to find and arrange collection solutions for individual accounts
