Job summary

Americold is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician in Columbus, OH to perform refrigeration operations, routine maintenance, and repairs of industrial mechanical and electrical systems in support of warehouse objectives and safety requirements.

You will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, test equipment, document preventive maintenance in our CMMS, follow OSHA standards, and support on-call and flexible shifts for continuous operation in a cold storage environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of refrigeration or maintenance experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
HVAC/R certification or technical degree required if experience is not met.
HAZMAT training and certification required.

Responsibilities

Operate and perform repairs and adjustments on refrigeration systems.
Monitor system performance and identify operational issues.
Conduct routine maintenance on warehouse equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective actions.
Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate instruments.
Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and ensure proper use.
Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and uphold housekeeping standards in the work area.
