Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a Refrigeration Maintenance Technician to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems across the warehouse. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and reliable equipment performance in a cold storage environment.

Responsibilities include system repairs, routine checks, and documenting maintenance activities while complying with OSHA standards and safety guidelines. On-call shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of refrigeration or maintenance experience OR HVAC/R certification/technical degree.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Complete assigned industrial refrigeration or mechanical-electrical courses.
• Must complete HazMat training and maintain certification.
• Basic computer skills for email, internet searches, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair refrigeration systems and perform adjustments.
• Monitor system performance and identify issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on warehouse equipment per OSHA standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective actions.
• Test and evaluate equipment performance using appropriate instruments.
• Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and ensure safe use.
• Keep preventive maintenance records and maintain housekeeping.
• Possibly perform additional duties as assigned.
• Adapt to flexible shifts including on-call assignments.
