Job summary

ECS Limited is hiring a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our York team. No experience is required as you will be trained on the job, and certification fees will be paid by the company.

Starting pay is $20 per hour. You will learn to safely perform field observations, sampling soils, aggregates, and concrete under the guidance of experienced professionals, with opportunities to pursue OSHA 10, ASTM standards, and future certifications.

Qualifications

• No experience required and paid training provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 85 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and insurance required.
• Willing to develop understanding of CMT principles and ASTM standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete.
• Perform routine field tests and follow industry standards.
• Collect and reduce data from tests; assist with drafting and admin tasks.
• Maintain communication with site contractors and project managers.
