Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Must have valid driver's license and insurance.
• Willing to develop understanding of CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• OSHA 10 certification may be required.
• Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, peers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete at project sites under supervision.
• Perform routine field and laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete following industry standards.
• Collect data and perform calculations based on sampling and test results.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, fellow technicians, and project managers; report changes.
• Receive training and document findings with precision according to engineering practices.
