ECS Limited is hiring a Construction Materials Testing Field Technician in Baltimore, MD. No experience is required, and you will learn under experienced professionals while performing field observation, testing, and sampling of soils, aggregates, and concrete.

You''ll be trained in ECS methodologies, perform data collection, and assist with project coordination under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, professional development, and on-site collaboration with contractors and managers.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 85 pounds.
• Must have valid driver''s license and insurance.
• Willing to develop understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, and procedures.
• Willing to obtain knowledge of CMT principles and applications, as well as ASTM laboratory standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of materials including soils, aggregates, and concrete on project sites.
• Perform routine field and/or laboratory tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete following industry standards.
• Collect data and perform calculations based on test results; assist with drafting and admin duties.
• Maintain communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers; report changes or additional testing.
• Receive training in ECS methods for observations, inspections, and testing; document findings precisely.
