Qualifications

  • Must lift a minimum of 85 pounds.

  • Willing to learn CMT principles and ASTM standards.
  • OSHA 10 certification may be required.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with teams.

Responsibilities

  • Field Activities: Conduct observation, testing, and sampling of materials (soils, aggregates, concrete) on sites under supervision.
  • Testing Procedures: Perform routine field and/or lab tests for soils, aggregates, and concrete per standards.
  • Data Collection: Calculate and reduce data from sampling/test results; assist with calculations and drafting as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers; report changes.
  • Training and Development: Learn ECS methodologies and document findings with engineering accuracy.
