Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician in San Antonio. No experience is required as you will learn under senior staff.

You'll perform field testing of soils, aggregates, and concrete, with training provided and opportunities to pursue certifications such as OSHA 10, and ASTM-related qualifications. Responsibilities include field observations, data collection, and collaboration with project managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Must be able to lift up to 85 pounds and obtain valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Observe, test, and sample soils, aggregates, and concrete at sites under supervision.
• Perform field and laboratory tests following industry standards and procedures.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and assist with drafting and admin tasks as needed.
• Maintain communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers; report changes and requests.
