Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Field Technician in San Marcos, TX. The role is primarily field-based, with training provided and opportunities to obtain certifications such as OSHA 10, ACI, and NRCA.

You will collect data, document site conditions, and support testing activities under supervision while interacting with contractors and project teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Obtain basic certifications applicable to CMT work as per policy.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written).
• Detail-oriented with basic math and data entry ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform field observation, sampling, and testing of soils, aggregates, and concrete under supervision.
• Assist with construction materials testing activities on project sites.
• Communicate daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Report changing site conditions and testing needs to supervisors.
• Assist in preparation and submission of daily field reports and data entry.
