The Research Foundation for SUNY seeks an Entry Level Cleanroom Operator Level I to operate and monitor advanced process equipment in a cleanroom environment. You will support production goals through equipment operation, troubleshooting, and quality-focused process execution, gaining hands-on experience with cutting-edge semiconductor tech.

• Entry-level position requiring basic mechanical skills and comfort with computers.
• Must have good written communication and be well organized.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Overtime availability required.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment in semiconductor process areas (photolithography, etch, wet cleans, CVD, PVD, CMP, metrology).
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and operate multiple process tools.
• Assist with new tool installation, troubleshooting and qualification.
• Provide technical support to operations management and resolve tool problems.
• Ensure accuracy, quality and productivity; maintain tool utilization.
• Potentially assist with additional duties as assigned.
