Job summary

onsemi's semiconductor fabrication facility in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Process Technician to join the team. You will process wafers in a cleanroom environment, perform visual quality inspections, and ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards.

This position offers a 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shift (or 11:00 pm–7:00 am), Monday through Friday, with a base hourly pay range of $25.52–$44.75 and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar semiconductor manufacturing role.
• Ability to follow written procedures and verbal directions.
• Attention to detail and well-organized work habits.

Responsibilities

• Process semiconductor wafers on tools in a cleanroom fab environment (e.g., photolithography, MOCVD, etch, thin films).
• Perform visual quality inspections and enter measurement data.
• Follow all procedural and safety specifications.
• Physically move wafers through the cleanroom.
