Job summary

NY Creates in Albany, NY seeks a Manager Of Cleanroom Operations to supervise daily cleanroom activities and lead a team in the Center for Semiconductor Research. You will design operational procedures, support client needs, and mentor staff to create a high-performance workforce.

The role requires hands-on supervision in the cleanroom, a strong background in management, and excellent communication. Salaried position with night shift stipend and potential additional compensation.

Qualifications

• B.S. or equivalent in Management, Education, or Physical/C biological sciences from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with leadership experience.
• Proficiency using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel; 5+ years supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of Cleanroom Operations personnel.
• Develops procedures to ensure efficient operation of the Center for Semiconductor Research.
• Works with partners and clients to provide a productive work environment.
• Conducts performance reviews, mentors staff, and supports workforce development.
• Direct hands-on supervision in the cleanroom and other duties as assigned.
