Job summary

The Research Foundation for SUNY in Albany is seeking a Manager of Cleanroom Operations to oversee daily cleanroom operations and supervise a team, developing procedures and mentoring staff to ensure efficient operations within the Center for Semiconductor Research. A strong emphasis on hands-on leadership in the cleanroom is required.

The role requires at least 5 years of supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management, Education, or Physical, Chemical, or Biological sciences.
• 5+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Cleanroom Operations personnel.
• Establish procedures and protocol to ensure efficient operation of the Center.
• Collaborate with partners, NY Creates, and client personnel for a productive work environment.
• Conduct performance reviews, mentor staff, and develop workforce.
• Significant time spent in the Cleanroom as a hands-on supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
