Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Technician I in Scarborough, ME to support chemical and manual cleaning workflows for semiconductor tooling. You will work in a cleanroom environment, follow SOPs, and contribute to safety and quality in a fast-growing sector.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in manufacturing or materials processing, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; AA degree in a technical field preferred.
• Certifications in chemical handling, cleanroom operations, or Lean manufacturing.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing processes or materials.
• Experience in parts cleaning and coating technologies desirable.
• Kaizen or Lean training is a major plus.
• Media blast experience and Quality Assurance experience are beneficial.
• High-tech or Semiconductor experience preferred.
• Previous experience in parts cleaning industry is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical and manual cleaning of tool chamber parts.
• Execute tasks: receiving, masking, scrubbing, etching, blasting, coating, drying, baking, packaging.
• Follow SOPs and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Complete required training and certifications for processes.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Attend safety meetings and complete required safety training.
• Handle hazardous chemicals safely and follow disposal protocols.
• Accurately report task completion and log production data.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Seek opportunities to expand skills and advance process knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
