Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a civil/environ- mental/ mechanical engineer to support on-site development, water and wastewater projects, hydraulics, and related studies. You will gain exposure to real-world challenges and project requirements while working under direct supervision.

Responsibilities include developing site layouts, performing reviews, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to technical papers and conference materials. Travel up to 10% is possible as projects vary by location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering with travel may be required.
• Equivalent experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Understanding of engineering design principles and CAD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic to complex site designs for civil and water projects.
• Conduct site reviews and update design requirements for project needs.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Contribute to technical knowledge with design documentation and papers.
• Prepare designs for posters/conferences and other publications.
• Perform other duties as required.
