Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an entry-level Environmental, Water Resources, or Civil Engineer to join our Water Services Group in the United States. The role offers exposure to innovative and sustainable water projects while building technical expertise within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include field studies, design support, and analyses using ArcGIS, SWMM, and other engineering tools. Domestic travel may be required as part of project work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 0 years experience; travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Support site assessments, field investigations, and project studies.
• Assist with design development and adjust design parameters based on project requirements and field findings.
• Perform water quality analyses, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, and other engineering analyses.
• Prepare technical reports, project documentation, presentations, and other deliverables for client meetings and industry conferences.
• Use tools such as ArcGIS, Fathom, SWMM, CADD, Excel, and other engineering software to support project design and analysis.
• Participate in fieldwork and construction management activities, providing exposure to projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
