Job summary

Bohler is seeking an Entry Level Civil Engineer (Land Development) in Atlanta, GA to join a dynamic team and contribute to site planning, grading, utilities, and stormwater design. You will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers on real land development projects.

Ideal candidates have a civil engineering degree and up to 1 year of site design experience, with familiarity in AutoCAD Civil 3D; EIT is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• 0–1+ years of residential, commercial, or industrial site design and permitting experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred; training provided if not yet proficient)
• EIT certification is helpful but not required

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of land development projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed‑use sites
• Partner with experienced engineers and mentors to learn every stage of site design, from concept through construction
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to create site layouts, grading plans, and utility designs
• Research and interpret design manuals, zoning ordinances, and jurisdictional regulations
• Review and address regulatory comments and assist with project redesigns as needed
• Support the preparation of stormwater management reports and construction submittals
• Participate in professional and technical training through Bohler’s Learning & Development programs
• Attend site visits to observe field conditions and coordinate with project teams
• Engage in civic, professional, and business organizations to build your network
• Perform other responsibilities in accordance with company policies and standards
