The Oregon Department of Justice, Division of Child Support, is seeking an Entry Child Support Case Manager in the Gresham office. This role emphasizes attention to detail, consistency, and organization as you help establish and enforce support orders and assist customers.

Qualifications

• Three years of public-facing work experience using computers and MS Office.
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience.
• Finalists must pass a comprehensive employment reference check and fingerprint-based background check; driving history may be reviewed for state vehicle positions.

Responsibilities

• Review case documents to determine if a child support order is needed.
• Contact customers and service providers to gather information for establishing paternity and enforcing orders.
• Establish, modify, enforce, and provide accounting records for child support orders.
• Apply federal and state laws, rules, and agency policies and procedures.
• Verify payments are disbursed and state claims are accurate.
• Review paternity declarations and file legal documents to establish paternity.
• Gather wage and health care information and apply child support guidelines to calculate obligation.
