Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with two years of lead work or supervision.
• Bachelor’s degree not related to human services requires Oregon Caseworker Competency coursework plus two years lead experience.
• Associate degree with three years of human services experience, including two in lead work or supervision.
• Associate degree with Caseworker Competency coursework plus two years lead/supervision in human services.

Responsibilities

• Engage and supervise staff by planning, executing, monitoring, and evaluating activities.
• Ensure staff follow laws, policies and practices to promote safety and permanency.
• Provide training, orientation, mentoring, and staff consultations.
• Maintain cooperative relationships with staff, community partners, children, and families.
• Make informed decisions on services provided to client families.
• Review and approve work.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with two years lead/supervision experience

Bachelor’s degree unrelated to human services + Oregon Caseworker Competency coursework + two years lead/supervision experience

Associate degree + three years human services experience (two in lead/supervision)
