Job summary

IMEG in Ann Arbor, MI is hiring a Chemical Engineering New Graduate for an entry-level role with hands-on design, analysis, and project execution. You will work with experienced engineers and consultants on chemical processes, with mentorship, training, and growth opportunities from day one.

Responsibilities include project planning, technical calculations, documentation, field work, budgeting support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams on industrial and MEP projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
• Proficient with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Plant 3D

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to understand needs and build client relationships.
• Support execution of consulting projects and assist with planning and scheduling.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and develop practical solutions.
• Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and assist in equipment/spec development.
• Assist in process controls design and perform technical calculations.
