Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Chemical Engineering New Graduate for a hands-on entry-level role. You will collaborate with experienced engineers on chemical processes, support project planning, and contribute to design documentation and field work from day one.

You will develop Process Flow Diagrams, P&IDs, and assist in equipment specifications while gaining exposure to industrial projects and MEP-related work. 2027 graduates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required
• Engineering in Training (EIT) license preferred
• Prior internship in engineering consulting or chemical process preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to understand needs and build relationships
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines
• Document design decisions and monitor progress
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and develop practical solutions
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs and assist in equipment specifications
• Assist in process controls design and perform technical calculations
• Conduct field work to document conditions and installations
• Support cost estimate development and bid package documentation
