Job summary

IMEG in Boulder, CO is hiring a Chemical Engineering New Graduate for hands-on design, analysis, and project execution with mentorship and training to grow your expertise from day one. You will work with experienced engineers on chemical process solutions.

In this entry-level role you will assist with project planning, technical calculations, design documentation, field work, and cost estimates, while supporting budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Internship in engineering consulting preferred.
• Engineering in Training (EIT) license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with clients to understand needs and build relationships.
• Support project planning and scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and monitor progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks and develop practical solutions.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs and assist in equipment/instrument specs.
• Assist in process controls design and perform technical calculations.
• Perform field work to document existing conditions and installations.
• Support cost estimates and bid package documentation.
• Review project construction progress and ensure quality standards.
