Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Chemical Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program. You will assist in the analysis, design, and implementation oversight of chemical processes while working closely with experienced engineers and consultants.

You'll support project budgets, documentation, and multidisciplinary coordination across industrial, manufacturing, and MEP work, gaining exposure to real project delivery in technical facilities.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Chemical Engineering.
• Strong interest in design consulting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD/BIM skills.
• Ability to clearly communicate orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of chemical process projects according to code and IMEG standards.
• Research commercially available equipment and support development of equipment and instrument specifications.
• Develop PFDs and P&IDs.
• Perform technical calculations and document results.
• Document design decisions and client instructions promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions.
