Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting, LLC is seeking a Field (Cathodic Protection) Technician to join our growing team and support outdoor projects across the United States. This entry‑level role offers extensive travel, hands‑on training, and opportunities to advance in CP and mitigation design.

You’ll install, test, and maintain CP systems while learning from in‑house experts. Ongoing certifications and a path to leadership are encouraged, with competitive pay, OT, per diem, and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degrees preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel extensively for physically demanding outdoor work.
• Operates company vehicle, ATV/UTV, and uses general hand/power tools.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by adhering to guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare for planned cathodic protection projects.
• Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs).
• Operate and use testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot cathodic protection systems.
• Gather data and prepare records/reports promptly.
• Install, maintain and repair CP system components.
• Ensure work aligns with company goals and procedures.
