Job summary

Lake Superior Consulting in Nashville, TN seeks a Cathodic Protection Technician to join our growing team. This entry‑level role offers substantial travel across the U.S. and overtime opportunities, with training from in‑house experts and potential for advanced certifications.

You will learn to install, monitor, and service CP systems while gaining hands‑on experience in a dynamic, field‑based environment alongside project managers, engineers, and field staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degrees preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to travel extensively for physically demanding outdoor work.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle, ATV/UTV and general tools.
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting abilities.
• Team-based environment and collaboration with PMs, engineers, and management.
• Willingness to learn CFR 49 Part 192 & 195 and AMPP standards.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by following client guidelines and procedures.
• Prepare for planned cathodic protection projects.
• Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs).
• Operate/testing equipment for CP systems.
• Troubleshoot cathodic protection systems.
• Gather data and prepare records/reports in a timely manner.
• Install, maintain and repair CP system components.
• Ensure work aligns with company goals and procedures.
• Follow all technical procedures and guidelines.
