Lake Superior Consulting is hiring a Field (Cathodic Protection) Technician to join our growing team and perform on-site CP work across the United States. The role includes installing, monitoring, and maintaining CP systems, with significant travel and overtime.

This entry-level path offers hands-on training from in-house experts and opportunities to earn industry certifications, while using cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel extensively for physically demanding outdoor work.
• Capability to operate company vehicle and general hand/power tools.
• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work safely by following company and client guidelines.
• Prepare for planned cathodic protection projects.
• Complete and maintain operator qualifications (OQs).
• Operate and use testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot cathodic protection systems.
• Gather data and prepare records and reports.
• Install, maintain and repair CP components.
• Comply with technical procedures and regulations.
