Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Building Enclosure Staff Associate to join our Southeast Building Science & Infrastructure team in Memphis, TN. You will gain hands-on field experience, support testing and reporting, and work with experienced consultants to evaluate building envelope performance.

The role offers development opportunities in field investigations, technical analysis, and project support across diverse facility types within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Certifications such as EIT or IIBEC credentials are a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support building science & infrastructure testing, inspections, and consulting services.
• Conduct site observations and inspections of roofing and building enclosure systems.
• Assist with drafting/CAD work and testing protocol development.
• Prepare field reports detailing findings and conditions.
• Assist with analysis of field data to support project conclusions.
• Develop familiarity with IBC and local building enclosure codes.
