Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews to determine eligibility for assistance and re-determine ongoing eligibility.
• Explain temporary assistance programs and determine need for aid.
• Process applications for financial assistance and diversion; explain responsibilities and rights.
• Evaluate data consistency and substantiated accuracy where indicated.
• Compute assistance plans.
• Determine need for and amount of allowances for special items.
• Evaluate education, work history, and social functioning levels.
• Assess employability and explore potential income sources.
