Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts interviews to determine eligibility for assistance and re-determines continuing eligibility.
• Explains temporary assistance programs and determines need for assistance.
• Processes applications for financial assistance and diversion; explains client responsibilities.
• Evaluates data for accuracy and completeness.
• Computes assistance plans.
• Determines need for and amount of allowances for special circumstances.
• Evaluates education, work experience, and social functioning; and
• Evaluates employability and explores potential income sources.
