Job summary

AbleLight is seeking an entry-level Behavior Technician under the supervision of a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, to implement behavioral reduction or treatment plans for individuals with developmental disorders.

You will collect and analyze behavioral data using Central Reach, maintain confidentiality, and provide progress updates to families. This role emphasizes teamwork and precise communication to follow established protocols.

Qualifications

• Some understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
• Ability to obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification within 45 days of hire.
• Willingness to work under supervision and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans to reduce problematic behavior or improve daily living skills under supervision.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data using Central Reach software.
• Maintain client confidentiality and dignity at all times.
• Provide updates to parents or caretakers regarding client progress as instructed.
• Ensure treatments follow established behavior reduction and behavior skills protocols.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication; work both independently and in a team.
