Job summary

AbleLight seeks an entry level Behavior Technician who, under supervision by a Clinical Supervisor, BCBA, will implement behavioral reduction or skill-building plans for individuals with developmental disorders. You will collect and analyze behavioral data using Central Reach, maintain client confidentiality, provide progress updates to families, and ensure all treatments follow approved protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma
• Experience: Some understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Lic or Cert Ability: to obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans under supervision to reduce challenging behavior and improve daily living skills.
• Collects and analyzes behavioral data using Central Reach software.
• Maintains client confidentiality and dignity.
• Provides updates to parents or other caretakers regarding client progress or ongoing treatments.
• Ensures that all treatments provided follow established behavior reduction and behavior skills protocols.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
