Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one behavioral support in clients’ homes and community settings. You will implement plans created by BCBAs and help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills, while recording progress and maintaining structured learning environments.

Eligible candidates must be at least 18 with a high school diploma or equivalent. Flexible schedules and ongoing BCBA guidance are provided to support professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Human Development, or a related field.
• One year of experience as listed: Behavior Technician, ABA Therapist, Behavioral Interventionist, Paraprofessional, Child Development Professional, Camp Counselor, or similar child-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral support.
• Implement treatment plans developed by BCBAs.
• Help clients build communication, social, and adaptive skills.
• Support positive behavior development.
• Record session data and client progress.
• Create engaging and structured learning environments.
