Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking an Entry-Level Business Development Representative in Washington, DC to support our sales team by identifying and engaging prospective clients, including law firms and corporate legal departments. You will collaborate with senior sales leaders to generate opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.

You will conduct outbound prospecting, research potential clients, qualify leads, and schedule introductory calls for senior managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Research and identify potential clients within law firms, corporate legal departments, and other relevant industries.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations.
• Schedule meetings and introductory calls for senior Business Development Managers.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Client Services, and Technology) to understand service offerings and client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and prospect interactions.
• Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline generation targets.
• Stay informed on legal industry trends, eDiscovery developments, and competitive landscape.
