Job summary

TransPerfect Legal is seeking an entry-level Business Development Representative to support our growing sales team. This role targets new business with law firms and corporate legal departments, under senior sales leadership guidance.

You will conduct outbound prospecting, identify potential clients, qualify leads, and schedule introductory meetings to drive pipeline. We offer hands-on training, mentorship, and a clear path to Account Executive roles to advance your career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Research and identify potential clients within law firms, corporate legal departments, and other relevant industries.
• Qualify inbound and outbound leads through discovery conversations.
• Schedule meetings and introductory calls for senior Business Development Managers.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Production, Client Services, and Technology) to understand service offerings and client needs.
• Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and prospect interactions.
• Meet and exceed weekly and monthly activity and pipeline generation targets.
• Stay informed on legal industry trends, eDiscovery developments, and competitive landscape.
