Qualifications

• Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment; bankruptcy experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of PACER, NextGen, and/or CM/ECF systems.
• Key skills include: critical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, and strong sense of teamwork.
• Strong problem solving skills and enjoys working with numbers.
• Ability to manage a high volume of files and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Work within the firm's Bankruptcy Department under supervision of the Paralegal Supervisor and attorneys.
• File Proof of Claims across multiple jurisdictions nationwide.
• Prepare certificates of service and other documents as needed.
• Communicate with team, supervisors, and clients via phone and email.
• Be a team player willing to assist throughout the department.
• Tackle new tasks, adapt to challenges, and engage in ongoing training.
