Qualifications

• Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment; bankruptcy experience is a plus
• Knowledge of PACER, NextGen, and/or CM/ECF systems
• Critical thinking, attention to detail, effective communication, and teamwork
• Strong problem solving skills and comfort with numbers
• Ability to manage high volume of files and prioritize workload

Responsibilities

• Work within the Bankruptcy Department under supervision of the Paralegal Supervisor and department attorneys
• File Proof of Claims across multiple jurisdictions nationwide
• Prepare certificate of service and additional documents as needed
• Communicate with team, supervisors, and clients by phone and email
• Be a team player willing to assist throughout the department
• Take on new tasks, adapt to challenges, and engage in ongoing training
