Job summary

Citi in Clifton, New Jersey is seeking an entry level Universal Banker to assist in sales, products and services in coordination with the customer service team. The role aims to foster customer relationships, build loyalty, and help increase sales to consumer clients.

The position is part-time in a branch setting, with responsibilities including account openings, service resolution, and processing financial transactions in line with bank policies.

Qualifications

• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in retail banking or similar role.
• Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customer.
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transaction and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars and promotional campaigns.
• Adhere to operational controls and regulatory procedures to ensure safety of assets.
