Job summary

The Universal Banker position at Citi in Miami Beach is an entry-level role supporting sales, products and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. It focuses on building customer loyalty and increasing sales to individual consumer clients.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Retail banking or similar experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars and promotional campaigns.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure safety of assets.
• Assess risk and escalate issues while ensuring compliance with laws and Citi policies.
