Sun Auto Tire & Service in Tomball, TX is hiring a General Service Technician. This entry‑level role trains you in essential vehicle maintenance, oil changes, tire services, and digital vehicle inspections while you learn from experienced technicians and store leaders.

You’ll work in a hands‑on shop, develop safety and documentation habits, and progress toward advanced technician roles through paid training, flexible scheduling including weekends, and opportunities for growth within the Sun Auto

Formación

• Strong interest in automotive repair and hands-on learning.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn basic maintenance.
• Ability to follow written procedures, safety standards, and store processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, service advisors, and store leaders.
• Valid driver’s license and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends; 18 years or older.

Responsabilidades

• Perform tire services including mounting, dismounting, balancing and rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings to store channels.
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements; maintain clean shop and areas.
• Transport customers and parts as needed; support shop operations.
