Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician in Cypress, TX. This entry‑level role focuses on oil changes, tire services, basic maintenance, and Digital Vehicle Inspections while learning from experienced technicians and mentors.

You’ll work a flexible schedule, including weekends, and have opportunities for career advancement and paid training in a values-driven shop environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined and eager to learn.
• Willing to learn basic automotive maintenance and repair processes.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check.
• Able to work weekends as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and document repair orders accurately.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings through proper channels.
• Maintain a clean shop and vehicle care areas; assist parts and transport duties.
