Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician in San Marcos, TX. This entry-level role supports the shop by performing vehicle maintenance services, inspections, and clean, organized work areas while learning foundational skills.

You’ll handle oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance, with on-the-job training from experienced technicians and leaders to build a long-term automotive career in a values-driven team.

Qualifications

• Reliable, safety-focused, mechanically inclined, eager to learn.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians, service advisors, and store leaders.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Perform oil changes and basic maintenance: fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair order documentation.
• Identify safety-related issues and communicate findings to store channels.
