Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an entry-level automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on our fleet of newer vehicles. This on-site role offers hands-on work, training, and a path toward ASE certifications while you build practical skills in a fast-paced shop environment.

You will work on oil changes, tire tasks, and routine maintenance, with opportunities to learn from more experienced technicians and advance into higher-level mechanic roles.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• At least 6 months of auto maintenance experience or auto tech school coursework.
• Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
• Must be 18+ with legal work authorization in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on the fleet of newer vehicles.
• Oil changes, fluid services, tire rotations, and basic repairs.
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics and more complex repairs as skills develop.
